Amid the brilliant lights and bustling of vintage pinball machines and skeeball, Signature Gives Back, Inc. (SGB) raised more than $10,000 during its First Annual Fundraiser. Silverball Museum in downtown Delray Beach served as the backdrop for SGB’s sold-out event on October 19, 2017.

“Our fundraiser exceeded our most optimistic expectations.  We raised a remarkable amount of money to benefit families impacted by Hurricanes Irma and Maria, and more than 200 people enjoyed a magical evening doing so,” says Jack Jaiven, Executive Vice President of The Signature Real Estate Companies, and SGB Co-Chair.

SGB has earmarked 100 percent of the event proceeds to be directly donated to two deserving families, including one young woman helping relatives from Puerto Rico relocate to South Florida with an emotional support dog. While distressed, she says “things are taking shape” thanks to the organization’s assistance and, in particular, to the advocacy of Co-Chair Wendy Pressner.

“I was astounded at the generosity of our fellow Realtors® and friends in our community,” says Pressner, adding thatthe event symbolizes SGB at its best and “is the change we wish to see in this world.”

Signature Gives Back, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit corporation and the charitable arm of The Signature Real Estate Companies, has encouraged hundreds of its Realtors® to volunteer their time and make financial contributions to these charitable organizations among others: Boca Helping Hands, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, Habitat for Humanity, SOS Children’s Villages, Tri-County Animal Rescue, The Soup Kitchen, and Wayne Barton Study Center.
