Event Recap
Signature Gives Back’s Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament, Nov. 8, 2018 to benefit both SGB and UnLIMBited Foundation was wildly popular with guest golfers and Cocktail Awards Reception attendees from The Signature Real Estate Companies and the greater South Florida community.
“It was extremely well organized and executed, and all golfers loved the Gleneagles Country Club’s well-manicured and designed golf course,” says SGB Vice President and Subcommittee Co-Chair, Jack Jaiven.
Jaiven and his team, including Subcommittee Co-Chair Wendy Pressner, and Event Chairs Ivan M Benjamin, Jr., Melainey Gunning, Rachel Gleichenhaus, Rob Gleichenhaus, executed this event for the worthiest of causes, our children and their families. Silent Auction chairs, Gayle Elliott and Judith LeComte produced a “beautifully arranged Silent Auction that included several travel packages, golf foursomes and other delights,” says Jaiven.
Most importantly, SGB’s first golf tournament, an effort of huge magnitude, has earmarked a significant portion of event proceeds to help children with limb-saving needs, served through UnLIMBited Foundation’s “Tommy Fund.” Tommy Morrissey, the renowned 7-year-old, one arm golf prodigy, was captured by local ESPN’s coverage and WPTV-5 news.
